Describe Yourself:
I'm a writer and a reader. I work AND play with words--they're my job, my relaxation, my puzzles, and my escape. These days I write both nonfiction and fiction, for kids and adults. My reading addiction is older children's fiction--middle grade and young adult, but I'm stretching into history as I do research for a YA novel I want to write. I also love a well-written memoir.
I am the co-author, with Lee Lofland, of THE EVERYTHING KIDS: I WANT TO BE A POLICE OFFICER BOOK, and I'm currently revising a middle-grade mystery for submission.
